The bill is due on 8/14/2020 for many students. If you have done everything needed for loans to disburse, Accounts Receivable will be able to see that this aid is authorized, and the amount authorized will considered as paid until the aid disburses. Summer 2020 Financial Aid

  • 2 April 2020

Following is new information regarding summer 2020 financial aid, the last day for fall/spring federal loan increases, and FAFSA completion (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

  • The last day for fall 2019/spring 2020 federal loan increases is April 20, 2020. If you are in need of immediate funds, please check with our office to see if you have any remaining federal loan eligibility, or if other options are available. For example, unusual medical expenses, loan fees that were taken out loans before they disbursed in the fall 2019/spring 2020 semesters, bar exam and character/fitness tests costs, child care expenses, or a one-time computer purchase are items that can be used to increase your Cost of Attendance, and thus, loan eligibility.
  • The Summer 2020 Addendum (Application) for financial aid is now available. It can be found on the internet under Financial Aid, in the “Docs” section on the right side of our page. The deadline for application is June 12, 2020. In order to qualify for a federal loan, students must be enrolled in at least five credit hours. These credit hours can consist of a mixture of classes, externships and/or directed research.
  • Students seeking federal aid for either Summer 2020, and/or Fall 2020/Spring 2021, should complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA as soon as possible. (www.studentaid.gov).
